Holistic Health Coaching
I have a history of mental illness not only with myself but with many people in my life that I love. After many years of being treated with only the traditional treatments, I just knew that there had to be better way to treat a person with mental illness other than with traditional medications.
After many years of continuing education in the holist health field, I learned that changing my lifestyle was the key to supporting my mind and body. By adding whole foods and holistic modalities I was able to undercover a more effective approach to supporting mental illness along side traditional practices.
I have devoted a large portion of my adult life toward finding a better ways to support mental wellness. The Gut Brain connection; in my opinion is the missing link to supporting out mental & physical well being. The program is built on the philosophy that a healthy gut is central to your entire health and connected to everything that happens in your body.
It is with confidence and excitement that I anchor my Holistic Health Coaching practices on The Gut Brain connection.

WHAT IS THE GUT/BRAIN CONNECTION?Over 250 million people live with depression & Anxiety. Unfortunately, the drugs used to treat depression & anxiety also kill beneficial gut bacteria, and this may cause unpleasant side effects, including nausea, vomiting or diarrhea as well as depression and anxiety..
The Gut/Brain connection can support mental wellbeing through the knowledge of integrative techniques, supplementation, foods, and genetics. |
TAP INTO THE CONNECTION
Your brain sends messages all over your body. Researchers believe that your gut may talk back.
Studies show that the balance of bacteria in the gut microbiome may affect your emotions and the way your brain processes information from your senses, like sights, sounds, flavors, or textures.
Scientists suspect that changes in that balance may play a role in conditions like autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, and depression, as well as chronic pain.
Are you wondering what kinds of food you should be eating to optimize your gut-brain connection, as well as your overall health? I am here to help you do just that.
